Built from the ground up the OTT platform that has reshaped sports broadcasting. First launching in Japan and DACH in 2016, followed by the US, Italy, Spain and a global platform launch in 200+ territories, DAZN has become one of the world’s largest and most influential sports broadcasters partnering with the biggest brands and competitions around the world.

2014

Established Joint Ventures with world renowned rights holders

Signed a series of unprecedented long-term strategic alliances in which major global rights holders placed trust in Perform to manage their most valuable media assets. Highlights include a 10-year media partnership with WTA, the biggest deal in the history of women’s sport, a 17-year deal with FIBA and landmark deals with J-League, NFL, CONMEBOL and Matchroom.

2011

Acquired Opta, Goal.com and Runningball 

On the way to developing one of the most complete sports digital offerings, Perform completed the strategic acquisitions of three market leading companies in their respective fields: Goal.com, the world’s largest football portal; Opta Sport, a best-in-class media and performance data provider; and Runningball, fast data company powering the sports betting industry.

Created sports media pioneer Perform Group

A revolutionary digital-first sports media business with innovation at its core. Perform redefined the way sports media was produced, consumed and commercialised with rapid growth leading to a successful IPO in 2011.
